Dr. Joseph Schwartz graduated from SUNY College of Optometry in 2012. He received the Frederick Brock Memorial Award for outstanding clinical performance in vision training. For over a decade, he has been an integral part of the Ezra Medical Center Optometry Department in Brooklyn, NY. In 2017 Dr Schwartz completed his fellowship for the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD). He also mentored many optometry students while serving as an adjunct assistant clinical professor for SUNY College of Optometry.
Dr. Schwartz specializes in pediatric eye care and vision therapy. He is passionate about treating binocular vision disorders which can lead to academic difficulties, using therapeutic lenses and vision therapy. Dr. Schwartz is relocating to Beachwood, Ohio, with his family. He is excited to bring his expertise and passion for pediatric optometry to the Beachwood community, where he aims to make a positive impact on the visual function of his patients.
